How
did you become interested in Track & Field?
I started running track
my 7th grade year at James Wood Middle School as a way to hang out
with my friends after school.
What are your goals for this
season?
This season I'm hoping to become a
better runner. By working harder and
pushing my self beyond my limits I'm
hoping to drop my 100 m hurdle into
the mid 14's and continue to do well
in the 300m hurdles. Hopefully, I
can become a state champion my
second year of hurdling.
What and/or who do you attribute to
your success? My
hurdle coach Howard Copley first
introduced me to hurdles in high
school and he continues to push me
and allow me to strive for my
best each and every practice, my
parents Sarah and Wayne Springer
helped to keep me focused and never
allowed my to give up when the going
got tough. Id always like to
give credit to my friends for their
continuing support.
Favorite
quote? "Experimentation is
the antidote to fear", spoken by my
choir teacher Brian Kelly
